New Student Pass Endorsement

Newly arrived international students are not allowed to exit West Malaysia nor travel to East Malaysia within the 30-day period, as specified in the special pass given by the Immigration Department of Malaysia at the port of entry.

The international student is only allowed or free to travel after passing the post medical screening and having his/her student pass endorsed. If the student exits the country within this 30-day period before the endorsement of the student pass, the international student will risk losing the student pass endorsement when returning to Malaysia or may be denied from re-entering Malaysia by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Submission of passport to the Immigration Department of Malaysia for new student pass endorsement will be handled by the Department of International Student Services (DISS) and will take approximately 3 to 5 working days to be completed. For further details of student pass endorsement, please liaise with DISS.
